Interesting hotel, clean, amicable staff, location perfect to have a stroll in St Jean Pied de Port was magnificent! The room we stayed in was tidy and fantastic with balcony, a fantastic view, a terrace.

The value for money at Hotel Camou was excellent, and our room overlooking the pool and mountains was just what we had hoped for. The location was perfect, with a short walk to town and the Camino nearby. The staff were pleasant and went above and beyond to provide us with extra coffee.

the room and bathroom were exceptionally clean, with many nice details. the hotel grounds were well-kept, perfect for relaxing and journaling. the staff was very welcoming. loved taking strolls in the beautiful surroundings.

I stayed at Hotel Camou for a few nights while starting my Camino journey. The hotel is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from St Jean, with a supermarket nearby. My room was clean, spacious, and had a comfortable bed. I especially loved the balcony with a view of the pool. The staff, while limited in English, were friendly and accommodating. The pool was great for a relaxing swim, and the breakfast offered a variety of delicious options. Having a Lidl nearby was convenient for self-catering and snacks for the hike.
